We have used Papyrus for the past 6-7 years. It is a DOS based
program but as indicated above, it works extremely well with
windows as far as siting papers in text as you write or citing them
after writing them. The formats for all of the major journal are
pre-programed and work well for automatically organizing your
bibliography as requested. It is compatible with Medline and you can
download searches into the database (a great time saver)! You can
also update old references from new Medline searches. There are many
other features of which I am not aware.
The support group is excellent. If you have a problem they
will usually help you fix it over the phone or send you a new
program overnignt mail. It has only happened to me once!
