glycosaminoglycans

Does anyone know if the different glycosaminoglycans used in studies
on osteoarthritis are the same\similar\related\no connection as those
in plants such as aloe vera? A substance called chondroitin sulfate is
used quite a bit in Europe and Japan. Glycosaminoglycans are sometimes
called mucopolysacchrides.

Thanks
Paul
