Hi,
we are looking for a method for the detection of cat immunoglobulin mRNA
in mouse-cat heterohybridomas. We have a few clones that produced for a
very short time cat immunoglobulins. We now have to check if mRNA for
cat Ig's is produced at all. We are thinking of some kind of RT-PCR.
Our myeloma cell line doesn't produce Ig mRNA!
Any suggestions for the source of primers that are directed against
highly conserved sequences of the light or heavy chain genes that will
work for cat chromosomes, too?
