Thanks for your response.
I have tried both blocking with species specific normal serum and with
an Fc blocking antibody. The non-specificity with the rabbit
anti-virus series is in the primary as my donkey anti-rabbit has no
background staining.
With the murine anti-virus MAb the secondary Ab sticks with goat normal
serum in the block and in the primary cocktail and with the Fc block.
