ELISA for lymphocyte proliferation & fish immunology

Dear immunology members,

I am currently working on establishing an ELISA for proliferation studies
using fish pronephrus and spleen lymphocytes.  I have tried to run the
assay first using t-cells from the mouse.  The assay is a kit from
Amersham Co.  I am having difficulty with the protocol and the Amersham
technical service division seems to disagree among its members as well as
with its written protocol as to many of the details of running the assay. 
I am especially having difficulty with the procedural differences used
with adherent vs suspension cells.

I would greatly appreciate assistance with:

1.  the specifics of the ELISA for measuring cell proliferation and
2.  the names and addresses of persons currently working on fish   
immunology in the New York/New Jersey vicinity.
