I don't know if this is the right place for an answer, but I'll give it
a shot.
My wife has recently gone for a job interview and gone through a
battery of tests. One of these tests was an immunoelectrophoresis. We
recieved the results today and her IgA count was 687. The report shows
a normal range of 69-382. Being the count was extremely high, she has
made an appointment to see an immunologist. Unfortunately, the
appointment is not for another week and we are anxious to find out what
this might be indicitive of. The only medication she is on is a
quarterly injection of Depo Provera 150mgs which she had 72 hours
previous to the test. She is 33 y.o. and is otherwise in excellent
health.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
