Freezing of new hybridomas in a 96well plate

I am interested in hearing about the experience of anyone who has frozen
freshly made hybridomas in a 96 well plate.

1) what is the best freezing protocol
2) what is the best way to thaw and recover the hybridomas
3) what is the typical recovery

Many people talk about doing this as if it is routine, but I have not met
anyone who has successfully used this to recover a reasonable yield of
hybridomas. I need a way to preserve my fusion as I want to screen by
immunoprecipitation.

Thanks.
