Supressor T cells

I am not an immunologist but I been trying to follow closely the
advances in the field of immunology, however some aspects are still
unclear for me.

I would like to obtain some opinions about the nature of supressor T cells.

Are there T cells that are uniquely supressors?

Can more than one type of T cells (CD8, CD4, Th1, Th2, etc) act as
supressor by means of inducing apoptosis or anergy?

Gabriel
