I am soliciting assistance in networking with professionals in the
biotechnology fields. I am a biochemist with a B.S. from Penn State
University and over twelve years of experience in diagnostics development,
manufacturing, and quality assurance. My research experience includes 2
1/2 years with Johns Hopkins Division of Clinical Immunology, and over 2
years developmental research funded directly to me by the Pennsylvania Ben
Franklin Partnership for high technology development. I have over seven
years of experience in diagnostic development and manufacturing in FDA and
USDA regulated environments. This experience includes:
- developing immunoassays and receptor based assays in ELISA, RIA, FIA,
and Avidin-Biotin formats;
- setting up manufacturing facilities, supervising technicians, writing
SOPs, implementing GMP and GLP, and acting as an assistant regulatory
affairs officer.
- writing proposals, receiving funding, preparing progress reports,
budgeting and tracking expenditures.
I have been searching for employment over a year and one half, and would
