Hello, I'm compiling a report to support using animals in research.
I would like to know of any vital progress made (-- such as in clinical
trials, etc., breakthroughs, etc., so that the general populous can
relate more --) *because* of using animals that *cannot*
be substitued by bacterial models and such. Also, I am particularly looking
for FDA regulations (citing sections would be helpful) mandating the use of
animals in research before clinical trials can be done. Please post, or
please direct me to a source on the net (such as a gopher site of the
FDA) where I can find such information. Thank you.
