FK-506 (Prograf) use with kidney allografts

To All:

I am a newcomer to this group and I find I am a bit intimidated by much
of the medical terminology of the writers. I find the discussions,
however, very interesting.

My inquiry has to do with the use of FK-506 with kidney allografts vs
the traditional use of Cyclosporine. My tx never responded well to
Sandimmune and therefore I was switched to FK. As far as I know most
of the abstract info is really obtained through word of mouth between
various transplant centers i.e the Gestalt method of information
gleaning. Sure woould appreciate a little dialogue with someone gracious
enough to respond to one who is not so scientifically inclined.

TIA
