 Western Conference in Immunology
for Graduate Students, Medical Students, and Postdoctoral Fellows

 University of California, Berkeley
 June 30-July 2, 1995

Keynote speaker: Dr. Paul M. Allen from Washington University in St.Louis.
Title: Biological Consequences of Partial T Cell Activation

Our keynote speaker is the only faculty representative at the
Western Conference in Immunology. Dr. Allen, as have our
speakers in the past, has agreed to stay for the duration of the
conference weekend to lend pointers and allow us the chance to talk
 to him at length.

This conference is a great opportunity to meet many of your fellow
peers in an informal, low-pressure setting and creates a forum, not only
for the discussion of current research and techniques, but also for
another chance to improve your skills at presentations through talks
 and posters.

CONFERENCE NOTES: The conference will be held at the Berkeley
Conference Center located one block west of campus at 2105 Bancroft Way.
The conference begins Friday evening with the keynote address by Dr. Paul
 M. Allen from Washington University at St. Louis. The address will be
followed immediately by an informal reception. Participant talks will be
scheduled on Saturday and Sunday Mornings. Posters will be on display
Saturday afternoon. The conference ends with lunch on Sunday.

The normal registration and housing fee per person (including guests) is
$60.00; for participants that present their work, the fee is only
$35.00. The fee is based on double occupancy for Friday and Saturday

exchange ideas with fellow immunologist in a relaxed and informal
setting. Preliminary results from ongoing research as well as work that
has peen presented at other meetings is welcome.
