Hello 'Netters:
A colleague of mine in the department is getting ready to set up his
field work program this summer and has approached me with a possibility
that may be of interest to people doing aging studies. He has a huge
population of sea birds (terns I think) that he has been studying for a
long time off of Cape Cod. He is going to be trapping a large number of these
birds this summer to look at reproductive rates with age. At this time he
would be willing to take some blood from each of the birds that he would
save and catalog so that someone could use these blood samples.
If anyone is interested they can contact him directly:
Dr. Jeromy Hatch, hatch at umbsky.cc.umb.edu, 617-287-6615
I hope this will be of some help to one of us.
Thanks,
Greg Beck
