The individual heading the venture to remove fluoride from the water in
California is a biochemist and knows what the chronic ingestion of
fluoride does to the human body. Tell me what if anything does a dentist
or their association know about the biological effects of fluoride on any
part of the body other than teeth? This is a medical/scientific issue and
it's been reduced to a political football because of the uninformed
*opinions* of dental organizations. They have no expertise in
toxicology, immunology, biochemistry, etc. Yet these are the same
organizations which steadfastly claim that chronic exposure to fluoride
in water, or the mercury which is contained in tooth fillings, is safe
for the human body.
