Dear Group,
We normally prepare thymocyte-conditioned medium (for in vitro
sensitization of B lymphocytes to produce monoclonal antibodies) by
incubating 12 to 14 day old mice thymus in DMEM. This is to produce a
medium containing a mixture of interleukins which are conducive for B
cell growth. I was wondering if anyone who does similar work out there
has looked into adding a recombinant mixture of ILs and other growth
factors as an alternative method to this.
