Hold on just one minute. At ground level, ozone is an air pollutant.
Kills plants and stuff. Also, there is going to be much more ozone
inside than outside (at ground level) because every electrical device
in the whole damn house gives off ozone. The World's worst offenders
are photocopiers and laser printers. You can even smell it on them.
SO, you open the windows to let the ozone OUT! Ionization is a
different thing. Nothing to do with ozone at all. Ozone at x thousand
feet where x is a large number is just fine, but in your house it is
like real BAAAAD!
Hydrogen peroxide? Hmmm wouldn't like to breathe that in on a regular basis.
It is not just a disinfectant, it is an "everything-ocide". Causes cell
death, necosis, the whole nine yards. Again, opening your window to let
it out would be nice....even if the damn stuff was there in the first place.
To suggest that H2O2 is present in the home in disinfectant quantitites is
the biggest pile of tosh I have ever heard.
An nice empirical test of whether your ionizer produces ozone and H2O2 would
be to fit is onto a inhalation mask, place the mask over your mouth and nose,
switch the ionizer on and see if you are dead within 24 hours. If you are,
then you have H2O2 and ozone. In which case, you are right and I apologize.
