Why don't you try the material made by BioProcessing Corp. It's called Prosep-A. The 
protein A is immobilized on porous glass, this makes it very robust, and usefully it 
settles out of suspension very quickly. So if pushed you could use it in a bottle, on a 
roller, with a pasteur-pipette and a steady hand.
