Hi,
My name is Nazanin Amirian. I am the mother of a 4 year old boy with
hypogamma.
He had been under treatment( the gammaimmune shots ) for one year and
half.
He showed a tremendous respond to the treatments and the result of his
blood
work have become within the normal range.Since his protein levels were
stabalized for few months we stopped these treatments after 18 months,
although the doctors
told us that he would need them for the rest of his life. Ever since he
has
been fine and even if he gets sick he bounces back to normal in 4-5
days.Recently he got an ear infection that as a result he has some fluid
in both ears. He has been on low dose anti-biotic for 20 days now and he
still has the fluid. I have 2 questions.
1. Is the fluid of the ears related to him not taking the shots anymore?
He seems to be fine otherwise but it makes me very nervous just thinking
about it.
2. I am 4 months pregnant and I am worried that the baby would have the
same
problems. What are the chances?
My amnio results have been normal , is there any thing else that we can
do?
This is a great service that you have.
Keep the good work up, and good luck with the foundation.
