You can cut and freeze the band of gel corresponding to your antigen in
liquid nitrogen and crush frozen gel bits with a mortar and pestle
(a small one, I suggest a pyrex one). Then you can scoop it up with a
spatula and mix with your adjuvant. If you have to add additional liq
nitrogen while making into a fine powder, add small quantities of liq
nitrogen so that your prep does not end up on the bench. Good luck!
