I am doing a research paper on catalyctic antibodies. It is unclear to
me how these antibodies are produced. Are these bioenginered through the
use of bacteria? Or are they completely syntheticaly enginered? Is it
possible to transform human B-cells to produce these anti-bodies. Is
there a half-life to these anti-bodies, or what is the turn over rate?
Does the immune system recognize these molecules as self and what class
are these immunoglobulins?
