Dear Jim,
I would recommend that you post this (if you haven't yet) in the
newsgroup sci.chem.analytical--there will be chromatographers who would
be happy to help you answer some of the questions you have posed.
You may also want to search the American Laboratory magazine or visit
the Pittcon web site (not sure about the url). These two sources will
provide you latest in chromatography stuff. Another source is labzar
web site.
