Some medline surfing brought forth references that suggest:
1. ivIg is likely to reduce the production of complement and is used in
anti-rheumatoid therapy for that very reason.
2. TGF-beta can increase complement.
Is any other substance able to increase complement?
Who are some excellent research professors with clinical experience in
regard to manipulating complement in a child with C4b deficiency due to a
null allele (molecular testing, excellent lab)?
Any information received in response to this inquiry will be forwarded to
the child's primary physicians and researchers working with them.
