It sounds to me like your doctor is trying to confirm or rule out a
diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosis (SLE). By "anca test" I assume
you mean ANA or anti-nuclear anitibody test.  However, before you run
off half-cocked and investigate this disease on your own, I strongly
advise you to discuss the presumptive diagnosis with your daughter's
doctor.  Your daughter may not have it at all. Playing physician or
diagnostician over the web is extremely dangerous and SLE can be a
particularly difficult disease to diagnose.  Good luck.  -- D.G.
