I have bene using 4% paraformaldehyde, to fix my cells, which are live
stained for Galactocerebreside-C and propidium iodide. But I think the PF
is causing problems. Most of the dead cells are washing off and I am
getting skewed restuls. Can anyone suggest a different fixative? Gal-C
is a lipid, so MetOH or EtOH are not ideal.
