 Hi Alan,  most of the  presentations at meetings have used it
pronounced  as    A-pop-tosis.  But,  I have heard them all at the
meetings.  Most people pick a favorite way and go with that way.  However,
remeber it is from the greek lang. (I believe but may be latin) and the
correct pronouncement  would be from that lang.

If any definite answer is out there I would also be interested in knowing
(like how it is pronounced in greek).
