A friend of mine has had four tests for response to C. albicans. Her two
skin tests showed virtually zero response to Candida; her two anti-
Candida-antibodies tests showed undectable levels -- even though at least
one study of chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis (CMC) showed that *all*
individuals in the studies (ie, healthy controls and CMC folks) had
substantial levels of anti-Candida antibodies.
She would like to find a lab that is capable of in vitro testing her
blood's capabilities of responding to C. albicans. Note that such an
assay is very different from merely measuring her blood's current
anti-Candida-antibodies levels.
I would appreciate knowing of a research or commercial lab capable of
testing in vitro her blood's capabilities of responding to C. albicans.
