Canisius -- what's the deal?

Could someone from this school please enlighten the group as to why your
students are bombarding this newsgroup with questions that sound as though
they were copied directly from a study guide for an upcoming exam?

I'm happy that many people see this newsgroup as a non-intimidating place
to pose basic questions about immunology, but I'm only comfortable
answering those questions when they are formulated by the person asking
them -- and I KNOW that a TA wrote those questions. I've been a TA and
those are EXACTLY what my questions sound like.

Upshot is, if you want answers (at least from me,) then you have to give
some indication that you made an attempt to find an answer to the question
yourself. The absolute least you can do is phrase the question in your
own words. That way, I'd worry less about my answer being copied verbatim
onto a problem set and handed in.

Good luck with exams,
Jeff
