Are CD3-chains individually regulated?

Dear fellow researchers,

I need to quantitate the T-cell-infiltrate in inflammatory lesions and
was thinking of using one of the CD3 chains. But now I wonder if these
are possibly individually regulated? Does anyone have an answer or an
idea, if e.g. the zeta chain could be used?
