Two companies (Labsystems and Savyon) have developed peptide based enzyme
immunoassays to measure antibodies (IgG and IgA) to C trachomatis very
specifically. However, specialist interpretation is still mandatory.
Therefore, I still advise to do testing in collaboration with an experienced
microbiological laboratory.
