Speaking of AIDS, what happened to the marathon battle in this
newsgroup between the wacko who denied any connection between HIV and
AIDS and someone who persisted in giving the wacko evidence he couldn't
or wouldn't handle? I joined in from time to time. Did I help scare
him away by pointing up his (gradually revealed) homophobia as a
possible basis for his irrationality and vehemence?
Or did they kill each other? Or move it to a different venue?
All I know is, the battle was still raging when I left for the Society
for Neuroscience meeting (c. Nov. 5) and it was gone when I returned
(c. Nov. 13).
