primate vs human class I: need a mAb

Colleagues:

We are trying to use the method of Boon et al to discover new class I
restricted epitopes/antigens. This method involves transfecting Cos 7
(AFrican Green Monkey) cells with human class I heavy chain; it is
expressed functionally on the cell surface with monkey B2M and peptide. In
any case we need a mAb that will stain all or "most" human class I
alleles, but NOT stain african green monkey cell surface class I. In
preliminary work we have used allele-specific mAb that bind only our
positive control human class I, but we are now working with a rare class I
allele (B45) which does not have a allele-specific mAb I know of. So we
need a broadly reactive mAb for human class I that does not bind monkey.
Any leads would be appreciated. David KOelle viralimm at u.washington.edu
