People who have some reservations about vaccinations have a statistical
basis for their concern, however vanishingly small. I wouldn't
characterize them as 'nuts', but as persons who have had bad experiences
with vaccination outcomes and are trying to warn others that there is a
tiny but real risk.
That said, I agree with you that public health care would be a disaster
without vaccinations.
