I am currently performing Western blots using a goat anti-human fibrinogen
primary antibody. Has anyone experienced any cross reactivity between
anti-human fibrinogen antibodies and milk powder proteins. I as this as I
seem to be unable to obtain a clear background on my blots. Can anyone tell
me if there are any "cheap" alternatives to using milk powder as a blocking
agent before primary antibody application? I have heard Soya bean powder can
be effective.
Thanks
