Just a simple but important question
IFNg production and cells lysis are the two effector mecanisms of CD8 T
cells.
Does anybody knows whether CD8 T cells are able to produce IFNg and lyse
target cells at the same time or sequentially. Alternatively, are there
two distinct populations of CD8 T cells (with the same antigenic
specificity of course) that produce IFNg and kill cells.
Any references wil be welcome.
