It has been a matter of some morbid curiosity just what this guy's
motivation could be. It surely cannot be intellectual passion for the
beauty of the concept he champions, given his evasion of every
opportunity to examine it in light of scientific counter-arguments, and
given his pervasive assertions of fraud, pecuniary motivation, and just
plain evil on the part of everybody else in this discussion.
Can it really be so banal as good old-fashioned homophobia?
