Attempting to do a Western on human serum for a novel cytokine.
Electroblotting to nitrocellulose membrane followed by chemiluminescent
detection. Problem is that some days (same samples) the candidate band
is there, others it's not. The problem doesn't seem to be transfer as my
markers appear to transfer just fine. Also, the detection system is fine
because I can readily detect recombinant material run on the same gel.
Any help?
