Dear Alls:
I have immunized the hen with an antigen for the IgY. The antigen
protein
has been SDS-PAGE purified. The target band was cut and mixed with the
adjuvant employed.
I immunized with Freund's Complete Adjuvant (FCA) on the day 0,
followed by Freund's Incomplte Adjuvant (FIA) on the day 14, 21 and 28.
However, I found that the antibody also cross react with other proteins.
The previuosly immunized hen did not be booste for the last two months.
I would like to try reimmunizing the hen with other types of adjuvant
or route of administration.
Since it was not recommended to re-immunized with FCA, what adjuvant I
should try? What is the recommended immunization schedule for the
adjuvant?
