Hot items opening up this week include some great deals on a Waters HPLC
Alliance system and a Perkin Elmer HPLC system
Both of these systems are in great shape and are currently under service
contract and still being used.
Waters Alliance system: Opening bid $16,000
Near new Waters Alliance HPLC. System consists of 2690XE separations
module
which has column heater, membrane degasser, piston seal wash, and sample
heater/cooler. A waters 486 Tunable UV detector is included. Millennium
may
be obtained through an alternate third party or through Waters. The 2690
consists of the autosampler and quaternary pumping system which is
fantastic for either narrowbore or standard analytical applications. The
exterior is in excellent condition.
Instrument passed all IQ/OQ criteria upon installation and is under
service contract. Seller is switching to an alternate HPLC
supplier. Recent preventative maintenance performed by Water's
representative.
Perkin Elmer HPLC system: $16,500 Opening price
Perkin Elmer LC Series Quaternary HPLC System. Dual detection with
Applied
Biosystems 785A absorbance detector AND a PE LC240 fluorescence
detector,
Series 200 Autosampler and Bio LC pump for maximum programmability.
Includes TurboChrome software for powerful system control and data
analysis. System is just over 3 years old and was used only sparingly.
Sold new for over $55,000. Every component is in pristine condition.

5890
Series II with 7673B autosampler and split/splittless injector.

SRI Benchtop GC with software, includes VRX column and FID detector.
Instrument is in excellent condition and looks like
new. Peak-Simple 2 software is a DOS based program that can be run on a
286 computer or higher. Computer not provided.
