Retroviruses

There are available retroviral vectors from them all of the tumorgenic
antigens have been eliminated, but I am afraid from the randum integration
of the LTR´s  through the host genome which may activate a silent gene or
vice versa, but I have been told that most of the human or even mice genome
is silent, in terms of expression I mean, but still we carry the fear to
apply that, any suggession will be immensly appreciated
