DNA bases

I am not sure if it was this newsgroup but I remember someone asking
about bases of DNA and if there is only A, T, C, and G. They had
mentioned something about phage DNA and if it was different. The T-even
phages such as T4 phage have
5-hydroxymethylcytosine instead of cytosine. Glucose is usually attached
to the
hydroxymethyl group.
