Anthrax vaccine

There has been a lot of controversy over the Army administrating Anthrax
vaccine to many GI's. Some have risked courts-martial rather than take it.
It seems to me that this would be an ideal opportunity to test the benefit
of using Vitamin C (the immune cell antidote) with the vaccination. My
suggested protocol would be 500 mg qid starting the day before the
vaccination and lasting for about six days. What I believe would result
is that the immune response would be restricted to the immediate local
area of the vaccination and other side effects would be eliminated.
Soreness, redness and heat in the immediate locale of the vaccination
is a sign of immune system response. Since so many GI's have already
been vaccinated without the benefit of Vitamin C, those results would
serve as a control for comparison. Also of interest would be measuring
the resultant antibody levels in each case. If the results with Vitamin
C are good this would be an indication for use in all vaccinations by
injection.
