Price Changes
The Waters LC-1 now has a new Millenium 32 data system with a 5.0 Lac/E
board. This complete system will open up at 16,000..
The Waters Gradient HPLC system with 600E pump, 486 tunable detector and
717 autosampler can also be purchased with a millenium for an
additional $6500 bids open at 23K
Hot items on the Block
2 Perseptive Biocads are available The model 60 is a 1997 model which
allows the protein chemist the ability to rapidly screen 16 buffers and
three columns. The process is completely automated and can utilize the
patented Poros bead nonporous columns for rapid analysis. The second
Biocad is a process system with flow rates up to 250 mls/min. This
system is perfect for the process scale lab where GMP and CIP is
required.
The Prosys workstation from Beckman is still on the block with an
opening bid of $2000. This unit also allows up to 16 buffers to be
screened and multiple columns. The unit was stored in salts and will
require a strong PM. Beckman evaluated the system and estimated costs of
7-9K for the replacement of all consumables. If a dealer were selling
this you would pay 15-20,000. This unit can be yours at an opening price
of $2000
Get rid of your old FPLC or just add another to your lab.
Perkin Elmer ultramicrobalances. The AD6 is 9 months old and being sold
at 1/2 off list price. The ultra microbalance measures sub microgram and
comes with a full one yr. warrantee supported by Perkin Elmer. The AD4
is also available with an opening bid of 2500$
