I am having a problem using candida as a stimulator for peripheral blood
lymphocytes
(human) in thymidine uptake proliferation assays. Using CFDASE I noticed
that B cells
were also proliferating, and it turns out that my commercial source (Greer)
does not test
for endotoxin, and in fact my candida has a good bit of LPS in it.
Is anyone else using candida for in vitro proliferation assays, and if so,
how are you
dealing with the endotoxin contamination?
