Hello All,
I have purified a protein by electroeluting it from 10%SDS-PAGE gel
after coomassie-blue staining to locate it. Can this blue-stained
protein be used for immunising mice? Also can i use this protein
solution as antigen, directly for ELISA and spleenocyte proliferation
assays? Or do i need to get rid of the coomassie dye from the protein
before going ahead with those expts.
Anybody having an idea regarding this could please let me know and
their help will be highly appreciated.
