There is a lot of surface antigens which can be used for identifying
neutrophils, in addition to classical enzymes markers. See for example:
KUIJPERS et al. Membrane surface antigen expression on neutrophils.
Blood, 1994, 78: 1105-1111.

For example in immunohistochemistry (on 'classic' paraffin blocks), we can
easely identify them with the anti-elastase (NP57 Mab from Dako)..
