I understand what you are saying but that is not how the immune system
works. If you are immunized against one virus but you are infected with
another, your response to the infecting agent is not curtailed in the least.
You simply have to go through the infection and recovery process as if you
were not immunized at all. The immune systems works to recognize anything
foreign. It is easy to think that what has happened with the over use of
antibiotics is related to our immune system. It is not.
