Research Associate - Protein Chemistry
Position #CA-600-01-11
Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting up protein chemistry
laboratory and assisting in monoclonal antibodies and recombinant protein
purification and characterization. This position requires a B.S. degree,
M.S. degree, or equivalent in chemistry/biochemistry or related field and
atleast 5 years of relevant laboratory experience. Hands on experience in
techniques including SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blotting, HPLC and various
chromatographic methods is required. Knowledge on protein formulation is
desirable.
Research Associate - Protein Chemistry

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting scientists in
developing bioanalytical methods to characterize and fingerprint monoclonal
antibodies and recombinant proteins of interest. Experience with protein
purification techniques. Ion exchange, affinity chromatography. FPLC, HPLC,
SDS-PAGE, Blotting techniques required. This position requires a B.S. degree
or M.S. degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience as a
anlytical/bioanalytical chemist in an industrial setting. HPLC, 2D
electrophoresis and mass spectrometry experience desirable.
Research Associate - Protein Chemistry

Responsibilities include but are not limited to establishing and
implementing QC methods and acceptance criteria for raw materials including
antigens and monoclonal antibodies. Compile QC data and generate QC reports
to be used in decision making by other scientific groups. Familiarity with
protein characterization and knowledge of QC for research or GMP reagents.
B.S. degree or M.S. degree, or equivalent in life science with a minimum of
3 years experience in a biotech industry, preferably in a QC setting.
