The project supported by the Bavarian Prion Research Fund deals with the
interaction of plasminogen with PrPsc. A new test system will be
established on this basis. A further goal is the development of
anti-idiotypic antibodies for the therapy of TSEs.
Applicants should have experiences in protein chemistry and protein
mapping. Immunological knowledge is beneficial.
