Hi,
In a recent oral salmonella infection study in rats, we observed a considerable
effect of the feed composition on the excretion of salmonella with feces. I like
to get more information on the amount of translocated bacteria. I have collected
serum at day 14 of the infection and determined various classes and subclasses
of antibodies against salmonella. Next to that I have collected daily urine
samples during the infection. Does anyone have a suggestion for relevant
additional biomarkers in urine or d.14 serum that can give information about the
host response to translocated salmonella.
Hans
