I wonder if anyone could help me. I have a few friends who are
healthy, but HIV+
Referencing the above article in New Scientist regarding us being a
step closer to a global HIV vaccine.
I understand from the article that monkeys who were infected *after*
the vaccination still became infected, but that the loadings even
after a year were very very low.
I'd like to know if a vaccine like this would help someone who is
*already* positive (i.e. if such a thing were introduced into an
already positive person, would it still have the same effect?)
I have a scientific interest but not in this field - can anyone answer
this for me? I'd appreciate an email back on
